Soonoyun (hello), it's me, Lein. Today I'm going to teach lesson 2. Have you memorized romanized Arka, Shion? Yeah, I can read Arka by Roman letter words. But I have to be careful about "x" and "c". "x" is pronounced like "sh" in "shop" and "c" is pronounced like "rr" in the Spanish word burro. Granted "c" for [r] is a bit odd, but I wanted to romanize it without using any digraphs or diacritics. "Shi" is written "xi" in Arka, so my name is Xion in Arka, not Shion. Don't say xion like ksion, OK? Xion... It reminds me of an audio player :) Drop the jokes. Well, how about the pronunciation? I'm still not used to it, but I tried my best. Let me know if this is OK. I wrote the Lunar alphabet below, by the way. pronunciation Yeah, it's OK. You're good :) "c" is pronounced like "rr" in burro, but girls tend to pronounce it like "r" in a Japanese word, ramen ([ɾaːmen]). You know, it's an alveolar tap. And I'm going to show you "The Song of the Lunar Alphabet."
